After twenty-five years in the gift shop, art gallery, custom framing business I retired. It was difficult leaving something I loved so passionately, it was the desire to create my own art calling to my creative spirit to change my path. Since 2002 I've been following my dream, painting in oil, watercolor, and sometimes creating images in pen and ink.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to participate in workshops given by such renowned artists as Zoltan Zabo, Morten Solberg, and John Seerey Lester.
Plein Air painting is quite desirable, though some times it can be challenging. Being one with nature has a way of stimulating the artist's creative spirit, bringing light and a sense of openness and freedom to the painting.
I look forward to many years creating artful pieces in many mediums I have yet to try for the first time.
