Peggy Compton Artist
Eighteen years ago Peggy Compton came from Washington State to Alaska. After raising a family and retiring from her oun business, she was finally able to persue her lifelong dream of beconing an artist. Peggy has been priviledged to have taken art workshops from several great artists and also art classes at the University of Alaska. She is also a mural artist and has designed a quick draw skill class for students.
Some of Peggy's awards include designing a commerative coin for the Alaska Coin Club, designing and painting (with a crew) the national award winning mural "Goat Mountain" which placed Best of Show and 2nd place at the Mat-Su College spring show 2007-"Eggibition."
